Everyone Deserves Adventure
June 24, 2026
Creating opportunities for people with disabilities to explore, connect, and belong.
Removing Barriers to Adventure
Adventure Club was created from a simple belief: recreation isn’t a luxury. It’s an important part of living a full and meaningful life.
For many people, opportunities to travel, visit new places, attend community events, or participate in recreational activities happen naturally. For people with disabilities, those opportunities can be limited by transportation, accessibility barriers, funding challenges, or lack of available support.
Adventure Club helps bridge those gaps.
The Impact of Recreation at Homeward Bound
Whether it’s exploring northern Minnesota, attending a sporting event, spending the day at the zoo, visiting a local festival, or discovering a new favorite destination, Adventure Club is about creating opportunities that foster independence, confidence, connection, and belonging.
Adventure Creates Community
These experiences create lasting memories, but they also create something even more important: community.
Every outing becomes an opportunity to strengthen friendships, build confidence, practice new skills, and experience the world in meaningful ways.
Adventure Club is also an invitation for our broader community to get involved.

How You Can Support Adventure Club
Homeward Bound is actively seeking new relationships with charitable givers who believe in creating opportunities for people with disabilities to thrive.
Individuals, donor-advised funds, family foundations, businesses, and community partners can support Adventure Club through financial contributions, sponsorships, volunteer involvement, or partnership opportunities.
Together, we can ensure that everyone has the chance to explore, connect, and belong.
Because everyone deserves adventure.
