Bridging the Financial Gap
Every Homeward Bound resident deserves the opportunity to participate in meaningful experiences, regardless of their personal financial resources or which of our 22 homes they live in.
Some homes have funds available through Made in the Shade fundraising, family contributions, or other resources to help cover outings and adventures. Others don’t have those same dollars available.
Adventure Club helps bridge that gap.
The fund provides additional financial support so that residents across all 22 homes have greater access to recreation, travel, and community experiences.
Our goal isn’t to replace the resources residents and homes already have. It’s to make sure that when those resources fall short, the opportunity for adventure doesn’t have to end there.

Adventure Club is designed to benefit residents throughout Homeward Bound, not just those whose homes have the resources to fund an experience on their own.
Every gift helps us expand what’s possible, whether that’s a local community outing, a new recreational activity, an overnight adventure, or a trip; residents have been dreaming about.
We want our teams to think creatively, explore new opportunities, and plan meaningful experiences without financial limitations being the first reason to say no.
Because access to adventure shouldn’t depend on which home someone lives in.
