About the BeautifyHBI Campaign
Originally soft launched on August 1st the #BeautifyHBI Campaign was designed to be an exciting half year long campaign designed to improve the interior and exterior of our 22 homes across the west metro, ensuring they are well-maintained, accessible, and comfortable for the 91 residents we serve with a variety of abilities and profound disabilities.
As 2024 comes to a close, let’s keep the excitement going and kick off the holiday season with JOY! We’re embracing the spirit of giving by combining three impactful initiatives—Give to the Max Day, Giving Tuesday, and our Year-End Letter Campaign—into one powerful effort: BeautifyHBI.
Our goal for the Beautify HBI Campaign is to raise $60,000 to create lasting improvements for the 22 homes and the 91 individuals who call them home. Your support, no matter the amount, brings us closer to this important goal.
What’s the Purpose of Beautify HBI?
The campaign brings together volunteers, in-kind vendors and donors who are passionate about enhancing the living spaces of our residents. Through a collaborative effort, we will tackle projects such as:
Landscaping: Beautifying outdoor spaces to create inviting environments.
Interior Renovations: Updating and improving common areas and living spaces.
Critical Repairs: Addressing urgent repair needs to ensure safety and comfort.
Accessibility Modifications: Making homes more accessible for residents with disabilities.
Energy-Efficient Upgrades: Improving energy efficiency to create sustainable, comfortable homes.
In addition, our campaign has a crucial long-term goal: raising funds to build a new maintenance garage for our dedicated team. This garage is critical to support ongoing maintenance of our homes, vehicles, and essential equipment like lifts and wheelchairs. With the sale of our previous facility at Brooklyn Park, we need your help to replace the lost space and ensure our team can continue their vital work.
How Can You Help?
We invite volunteers, vendors, and donors to get involved in a variety of ways:
Volunteering for projects: Rebuilding ramps, maintaining gardens, and more.
Donating materials or skills: Help us with in-kind donations such as construction materials, landscaping tools, or professional expertise.
Capital Donations: Financial funding will directly cover the costs of critical repairs, accessibility improvements, and the new maintenance garage.
Your Gift Makes a Difference

Why Is This Important?
