What is the Chili Cook-Off?

The Chili Cook-Off is a family-friendly event where local chili enthusiasts and culinary champions go head-to-head to win the title of Chili Champion. Attendees will enjoy unlimited chili tastings, entertainment, and activities for all ages.

Every ticket purchased, chili sample tasted, and sponsorship secured helps Homeward Bound continue providing innovative and life-enriching services to individuals with disabilities. Your participation ensures that your support has an immediate and meaningful impact on the people and families who rely on our programs every day.

Proceeds from this event directly support Homeward Bound’s general operations—fueling the essential services, dedicated staff, and person-centered programs that make a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve.

  - Here what you would need to bring:
    1. Your best Chili! Two crock pots worth; refill once during event
    2. Extension cord & power strip
    3. If you want to be included in the healthiest Chili contest, you will need to submit your list of ingredients
      - **If selected, your recipe will be included in the HBI recipe book at a later date**
  - PLEASE arrive at 4:30-5:00 PM to the side door for setup
