Employee of the Month – October 2024

We are excited to announce Wycklif Ogoti as our October Employee of the Month! Please join me in congratulating him on this well-deserved recognition! Before moving to the United States, Wycklif worked as a social worker. Upon arriving here, he initially worked in medical assembly. He joined HBI in 2016 and considers the team here to be like a second family to him.
Wycklif met his wife in college, and together, they have two sons. One of their favorite family activities is swimming, and they also enjoy watching football together—Wycklif’s favorite team is Chelsea F.C., currently holding second place in the Premier League.

To a new HBI employee: “Be patient in healthcare; remember, everything is possible by taking one step at a time.”
To someone new to the U.S.: “As a migrant, remember that you can create a family anywhere—it’s all about how you connect with others.”

Homeward Bound’s Employee of the Month Program started in January 2023 by popular demand from staff who shared ideas and concerns with HBI management at town hall meetings in Fall 2022. The selection process is done via blind voting to ensure that the winner is selected only for the exceptional life-enriching care they provide to people.
