High School & College Students Thrive in Student DSP Job Program!

Five students joined us in June 2024 for Homeward Bound’s new Student DSP Job Program.  Each Student DSP had a successful and productive summer!

“Being a Student DSP has opened my mind to the field of health care and taking care of individuals. It has given me the experience of working with people who are different from me,” said Joycee, a Student DSP at Noble.

Champ, when asked why he plans to return to the Student DSP Job Program next year, responded, “It is rewarding to help another individual. Knowing that you can play a big role in their lives is a reward in itself!”

Student DSPs develop valuable job skills that prepare them for careers in nursing, social work, health care, human services, and related fields.  As a result of the program’s success, Homeward Bound will continue hiring Student DSPs throughout the 2024-2025 school year for evening and weekend shifts.

We are now accepting Student DSP job applications at Homeward Bound Careers.
