Another Amazing Turnout
Wow, what an amazing day!! The morning was abuzz with all kinds of smiles and activity, despite the heat and humidity . . . folks really showed up for this wonderful event! We had another well-attended event, with nearly 800 attendees! We could not have this event without all the support from the walkers, rollers and pledge collectors. Because of you all, we had another extremely successful event! A special thank you to Team Mahoney and Team Feller for collecting nearly $2,000 each in pledges; our largest pledge raisers! We would also like to give special acknowledgment to the staff and Program Resource Coordinator at each of the houses.
We also thank our generous sponsors: Plymouth Lions Club, Cold Stone Creamery of Maple Grove, New Hope Lions, Pepsi Co./Frito Lay Midwest Region, Fast Signs Plymouth, Raising Cane’s of Minneapolis, Holiday Stationstores, Crystal VFW Post 494, Co-op Partners Warehouse and Kwik Trip Plymouth. A note of mention; the aforementioned Lions Club, along with Hopkins Noontime, also donated their time to grill all the burgers.
A special thanks to Doug from The Firm, and his team, who really rallied the participants with a high energy warm up session!
Your continued support of this event means so much to the individuals. The money the houses raise goes directly to providing the individuals we serve with the means to attend community or sporting events, purchase a much needed item at their house; funds to share an outing with their peers or whatever they like to do to enjoy their time together! You can still donate to the Made in the Shade event.
