Homeward Bound Brooklyn Park hosted another amazing art session in February; a “Communicating through Art” series, made possible with a Target grant. The art session once again focused on making art accessible for all. The art instructor Candice has a wonderful way of interacting with the individuals to showcase their talents. Just look at the smiles on these faces; what pure joy!
The grant received from Target Community Engagement grant, which means that a large piece of the funding is how the art is shared with the community. This is a great opportunity for Homeward Bound individuals to communicate and showcase their talents! More information forthcoming on when and where art may be displayed.
