Employee of the Month – April 2024

Mary Murray has been selected as Homeward Bound’s Employee of the Month for April. Mary makes it a priority to plan activities that the people she supports want to do. For example, she helped one person apply and interview for a job they were interested in. She also takes another person to the church they want to attend. She really takes a person-centered approach with everyone she. Mary also helps out wherever she can. One of the people she supports had to go to the hospital. It was late at night and Mary went to meet them at the hospital to help while they got admitted.

Mary received a $1000 bonus and is a candidate for the 2024 Employee of the Year Award!
Homeward Bound’s Employee of the Month Program started in January 2023 by popular demand from staff who shared ideas and concerns with HBI management at town hall meetings in Fall 2022. The selection process is done via blind voting to ensure that the winner is selected only for the exceptional life-enriching care they provide to people.
