Live Animal Visit
Our Brooklyn Park location had the opportunity to use their activity dollars to have a Creature Encounters visit in September! Creature Encounters is a live animal show that features naturalist Martha Herbert. She educates audiences about small, exotic animals like birds, reptiles, and mammals in a very entertaining and fun way! The program includes hands-on learning and a question and answer session.
Homeward Bound was ecstatic to see a ferret, Smog the bearded dragon, and Russell the Armadillo. Likewise along for the ride was Cornellius the corn snake, a chinchilla, and Cavey Crocket; a Cavy from Patagonia. Check out all the photos from the Creature Encounters visit here!
