Investing in Leadership at the 2026 ARRM Forward Conference

Continuous learning is one of the many ways Homeward Bound strengthens the quality of support we provide to the people we serve. Recently, several Homeward Bound team members attended the Association of Residential Resources in Minnesota (ARRM) Forward Conference, an annual gathering of frontline leaders, administrators, and disability service professionals from across Minnesota dedicated to advancing the future of disability services.

One of the highlights of the conference was seeing Homeward Bound’s own Vice President of Operations, Grant Haley, lead an educational session titled “Developing the Leader Within You.” Grant shared practical leadership strategies and personal insights with fellow professionals from organizations throughout the state, reinforcing Homeward Bound’s commitment to developing leaders both within our organization and across the broader disability services community.

Throughout the day, our team connected with ARRM staff, industry experts, and valued partners including Therap and Geritom Medical, exchanging ideas and exploring new ways to strengthen services for individuals with disabilities.

While the conference lasted only one day, it offered countless ideas, practical strategies, and meaningful conversations that our team will carry forward. Experiences like the ARRM Forward Conference reinforce Homeward Bound’s commitment to continuous improvement, leadership development, and innovation as we continue providing person-centered, life-enriching services that help people with disabilities live full and meaningful lives.

We are grateful to ARRM for bringing together providers from across Minnesota to learn from one another, strengthen our profession, and continue building a brighter future for the disability services community.
