Serena Emerfoll

Serena Emerfoll is Vice President of Human Resources at Homeward Bound, Inc.  With a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, Serena brings deep expertise in workforce strategy and development.

In her current role, Serena leads strategic HR initiatives, including talent acquisition, retention, employee development, and building career pathways, to ensure a strong, skilled workforce for health and human services. Under her leadership, the organization recently presented at a regional health and human services conference on engaging high school students in career pathways, demonstrating her commitment to long-term workforce planning and community impact.

Known for her collaborative and forward-thinking approach, Serena is dedicated to fostering professional growth, cultivating a diverse and resilient staff, and strengthening organizational capacity to deliver compassionate services for individuals with disabilities.
