COVID Champion Awards

This fall, Homeward Bound began presenting COVID Champion Awards to the teams of each home “for demonstrating exemplary courage, commitment and compassion while providing quality care to the people we serve throughout the COVID-19 pandemic”.
For over 18 months of the pandemic crisis, our amazing team members have shown up to provide the important care and support our individuals need. On top of all the COVID-19 procedures and safety measures, staffing shortages made it very difficult to provide continuous quality care. Yet, the HBI direct care staff, nurses, and Program Managers stepped up big time! They put in a lot of extra time and effort to ensure the individual’s needs were met.
They are truly the champions of Homeward Bound and we are grateful beyond measure for the countless ways they make a difference in the lives of the people we serve every day.
